Posting Frequency: How Often You Should Post (Without Getting Flagged)
Posting too fast is one of the easiest ways to trigger filters. Here’s a simple schedule that keeps you safe—especially as a beginner.
TL;DR: Start slow: comment daily, post rarely. Avoid multiple subreddits in a short time window.
Rule of thumb: if you’re new, your account should look like a reader first.
Start with: First Comments.
Safe Frequency (Beginner)
- Days 1–3: 0 posts, only comments (3–5/day).
- Days 4–7: max 1 post/day (in 1 subreddit).
- After week 1: 3–5 posts/week if you’re not getting filtered.
What Gets You Flagged
- Posting many times in minutes
- Same link/domain repeated
- Crossposting the same text everywhere
- Not replying to comments
Prevention: Avoid Reddit Filters.
The “One Subreddit” Rule
- Pick 1 subreddit where you already commented.
- Follow rules + flair perfectly.
- Post once and stay to engage.
Use checklist: Posting Rules & Flair.
Use structure: First Post Template.
